Cherry Spring is where they buried John O. Meusebach. Meusebach had established a town called Loyal Valley not far from here in 1858. Baron Muesebach was a devoted horticulturist and in its day Loyal Valley was a "garden in a wilderness; a garden in which one can linger and be happy".
